Facial treatments

Microneedling at Hidden Revive is a highly effective, minimally invasive treatment designed to rejuvenate the skin from within. By creating precise micro-channels in the skin, this technique stimulates natural collagen and elastin production, helping to improve texture, reduce fine lines, soften scarring, and enhance overall radiance. Perfect for those seeking smoother, firmer, healthier-looking skin, microneedling delivers visible results with minimal downtime.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, which triggers the body's natural wound-healing response to produce new collagen and elastin. This process helps improve skin texture and appearance by addressing issues like wrinkles, fine lines, scarring, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation.

How it Works

Controlled injuries:

A device with tiny, sterile needles creates thousands of micro-punctures in the skin's surface.

Healing response:

The skin interprets these micro-injuries as a wound and initiates a healing response.

Collagen and elastin production:

This response stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are proteins that improve the skin's structure and elasticity.

Improved appearance:

The new collagen and elastin smooth out the skin, leading to a more even tone and reduced appearance of fine lines, scars, and sun damage.

What it's used for

Aging and wrinkles: Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Scarring: Treats acne and chickenpox scars by smoothing the skin's texture.

Hyperpigmentation: Helps to fade dark spots and other pigment irregularities.

Dull or uneven skin tone: Rejuvenates tired-looking skin and creates a brighter, more uniform complexion.

Other conditions: Can also help with stretch marks and enlarged pores.

Important considerations:

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure.

Side effects:

Common side effects include temporary redness, a sunburned feeling, and minor swelling or discomfort, which typically resolve soon after the procedure.

Contraindications

It is not recommended for those with slow-healing wounds, keloid scars, a weakened immune system, or those undergoing radiation or skin cancer treatment.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a sterile surgical scalpel to perform a deep manual exfoliation of the skin. It gently removes the top layer of dead skin cells (stratum corneum) and fine vellus hair, commonly known as "peach fuzz," to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.

How It Works

The procedure is typically performed by a trained aesthetician, dermatologist, or cosmetologist in a professional, sterile environment.

Cleansing: The skin is first thoroughly cleansed to remove any makeup, oil, and impurities.

Exfoliation: The specialist holds a sterile surgical scalpel at a 45-degree angle and uses short, gentle, downward strokes to scrape the surface of the skin.

Post-treatment care: After the process, soothing and hydrating products, often followed by a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen, are applied to protect the newly exposed, more sensitive skin.

Benefits

Dermaplaning offers several benefits, many of which are immediately visible:

Brighter, smoother skin: It instantly improves the skin's texture and tone by removing dead cells and hair, resulting in a healthy glow.

Enhanced product absorption: With the barrier of dead skin and hair removed, skincare products like serums and moisturizers can penetrate more deeply and effectively.

Flawless makeup application: The smooth surface allows for makeup to glide on more evenly and last longer.

Reduced appearance of imperfections: It can help minimize the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and mild acne scars.

Hair removal: It painlessly removes fine facial hair, which can trap dirt and oil. The hair does not grow back thicker or darker
